Preschool Path Overview

This course offers a computer science curriculum for beginning readers, including Kindergarten students. Students will learn to program using commands like loops and events. They will also learn about safety on the internet, play, have a good time, and use Scratch Jr to code their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.

Outcomes

  • Students will start thinking logically and solving problems after investigating different problem-solving techniques.

  • They will learn what coding and programming mean using the code.org and Scratch Jr platforms.

  • Communicate their ideas, the bugs in the codes, and what they strive to achieve in a better way.

  • Create their own advanced digital stories and games with different game logic concepts.

Children initially learn the Scratch language (software building blocks) because of its ease and simplicity in presenting the most important principles of programming, and when the child masters the basics, he begins to learn advanced scripting languages such as Python in advanced courses later

Our courses are offered according to various programming tracks, each track consists of three courses that extend over six months, so that the duration of each course is two months (a lesson per week) within a team of 3 to 5 students with a specialized trainer and a special platform for communication and continuous evaluation of students’ performance and programming level.
